InvaderPLUS: combined benefits from Invader plus PCR.

AgBio's InvaderPLUSŪ chemistry combines the sensitivity of PCR and the specificity of InvaderŪ in a single closed-tube reaction. The unique structure specificity of Invader ensures accurate results.

The initial reaction is PCR portion of the chemistry, the target of interest is amplified with specific primers using PCR (A). This is followed by a heat denaturation of the polymerase enzyme (B). The amplified target is then detected by the Invader reaction (C).

InvaderPLUS Reaction

InvaderPLUS set-up is one-step and requires no additions to or transfers from the reaction, eliminating PCR cross contamination issues. The PCR cycles allow for a shorter Invader incubation time, which reduces the turnaround time compared to a conventional Invader chemistry.

AgBio's InvaderPLUS chemistry is applicable to DNA, RNA or microRNA detection. The combination of the PCR and the Invader chemistry permits the use of lower concentration and lower quality input sample DNA than either limited cycle PCR or Invader alone.
